Start from the sauna model (free sign-up; running a simulation is Pro). Sauna guests go round the sauna room, the cold plunge and a rest a few times. With too few seats or chairs, they wait at the sauna room or rest standing. In this article, on the men’s side of the members’ sauna, your AI puts in lounge chairs and simulates a Saturday afternoon. It ran the same tools an AI calls over MCP. Every figure and number below comes from that run.

1. The lounge chairs and the flow

Four lounge chairs against the middle wall of the men’s bathroom

In one change (edit_space) your AI puts four lounge chairs against the middle wall of the men’s bathroom. check_space finds nothing.

Your AI writes the flow as a scenario (put_process_scenario).

  • In the three hours from 13:00, a set number of guests an hour come in at random. They change (4 to 8 minutes), shower (2 to 5) and go round three times.
  • A round is the sauna room (6 to 12 minutes, most often 8), the cold plunge (0.5 to 2 minutes, two at a time) and a rest (5 to 10 minutes) on a free chair, or standing when none is.
  • Every time is an assumption, to swap for your own.

A guest takes 26 minutes of sauna seat on average over the three rounds. Four seats give 240 minutes an hour, so 240 ÷ 26 puts the line at about 9.2 guests an hour.

2. The guests and the sauna seats

Your AI sweeps the guests an hour (6, 9, 12) and the sauna seats (4 or 6) with sweep_process_parameters, 20 runs each.

  • With four seats, 9 an hour wait 6.2 minutes a round; 12 wait 16.6 and stay nearly two hours.
  • With six seats, even 12 an hour wait 2.7 minutes a round.

3. The lounge chairs

With four sauna seats, your AI changes the guests an hour (9, 12) and the lounge chairs (2 or 4).

9487.09.0 (10.3 %)

124114.613.0 (11.3 %)
  • With two chairs, about half the rests are taken standing; with four, about one in ten.
  • Six sauna seats let more guests go round without waiting, so at 12 an hour the rests standing grow from 13.0 to 31.8. More seats want more chairs.

4. Using the check

  • Draw your sauna (from a PDF drawing or photos as well), and tell your AI the guests an hour, the rounds and their times.
  • Not checked: the women’s side, an open-air rest area, the plunge’s temperature, limiting entry when busy, and the Public Bath Act and the local ordinance.
