For office interior designers
You redraw an existing office for a new headcount: the core, columns and escape route stay, the client wants two options side by side, comments on the one they prefer, and expects the revised plans and quantities to match the version they saw.
What Laydyne does for it
Build the floor from a dimensioned plan or a brief as one editable 2D and 3D model, with the core, columns and facades locked so the layouts change around them.
Read the feature page: Build a 2D plan and a 3D model from a drawing, photos or a briefAsk the AI you already use for the change in words, move reception beside the entrance, add two meeting rooms, and watch it happen in the open Studio tab, with undo.

What the published records produced
The fictional office starts with 80 workstations in A. B has 54 shared desks and six meeting rooms. R02 keeps 54 shared desks, has five meeting rooms and moves reception beside the entrance. Its handover includes a 1:100 plan, four quantity sheets and a searchable PDF report. A separate record saves six layouts for the same office.
- Change an existing office layout, compare the options and issue the revised drawings
- R02 plan and quantity sheets (PDF)
- Proposal report (PDF)
- Editable project with A, B and R02 (JSON)
- One office, six layouts
These recorded projects use synthetic inputs. Photos and drawings show what was produced; site accuracy, business effects and photorealistic reconstruction are not established.
What it does not do
- The attendance, meeting and call patterns are synthetic. People walk circular routes without avoiding each other, meeting attendees do not reserve rooms, and the geometry checks do not establish fire or accessibility compliance. Furniture counts are drawn parts, not procurement quantities or prices. A different office needs its own inputs and its own comparison.
- A seating row or a bench is one part, not its capacity, so the seat figure is a part count, not a headcount; the model records no room type, so meeting rooms and offices are not told apart in the table.
- The plan and perspective views show the same editable spatial model. A floor can have a polygon outline and holes; a part can be a box or a polygon prism, rotated and raised above the floor. This is efficient for layouts and routes, but it is not a free-form mesh or detailed CAD model.
- DWG, DXF and IFC files are not imported.
Price
Building and editing the model with your own AI over MCP, route checks, saving in this browser and JSON import and export are free, with no count limit; a free account is needed only to create an MCP link (3 per account). Running simulations, the built-in AI and cloud saving need Pro ($29 a month or $278.40 a year) or Max ($89 a month or $854.40 a year). Prices are in US dollars before tax; your AI provider bills its own usage separately.
Common questions
- Can I show the client two layouts of the same floor?
- Keep the current layout and each proposal as saved layouts in one project, show two of them from the same viewpoint, and read floor area, zones, desks and seats side by side.
- Do the drawings match the version the client approved?
- Issue A3 plans at 1:100 with furniture references, quantity sheets with part ids and a searchable PDF report from the layout the client approved; the next revision clouds what changed.
- Can I import the client’s DWG or IFC files?
- DWG, DXF and IFC files are not imported.
- What does it cost, and what is free?
